I have finally realized to myself how nocive and out - of - reach Deviant Art really is;
I've meet a lot of people around here since I started back in 2005; I've also seen a lot of fantastic masterpieces but I've seen also a big mess:

Reasons to leave (why I'm leaving) Deviant Art:

1 -It's to slow, want it fast? just ...pay! Or maybe It'll go faster if they allow to delete the accounts.

2 -It's a mafia

3 -Has Bugs... or you are going to deny it?

4 -Doesn't allow you to erase your account (talk about freedom of the web) I started yesterday to delete everything I have here, so I can finally have some self privacy online, and no data here.

5 -What I've deleted? 75 pages of favorites

(that's 1800 favorites: I only left 9 deviations that are worth to see)

63 of comments, 128 notes, 60 Journals, 3 years, 4 months, 18 days... and I'm not rich or happy with it, just a lot of time and internet bill.

6 -Doesn't have privacy options: it says it all. Off course is a public, pro-art web page; but If I block someone; he or she might be able to create a different account and get in. Don't dare to say I'm a paranoid, I've had my experiences.

7 -There're stalkers, rippers, creative producers; ready to take advantage of your work. After I suspended my deviations, I stoped seeing look-a-likes; not that my pictures we're ripped, but just "inspired" way to much ad pictures.

8 -It's addictive; I used to spend a lot of time here... a LOT! including times where I felt proud about my art, and times when I felt a mess watching the pro's masterpieces.

9 -It doesnt let art be, just wanna be.
You want a pageview? say hi to someone, comment an ugly deviation, or fav it. I've done it. And if that means to get my account flaged; do it. I haven't even reached 14.000 pageviews, and what are they for? are you going to give me a dollar for each one? I dont think so.
Deviant Art ranks art... ranks artists. It puts us all Unequal.

10 -Deviant is Unequal; or how do you explain people with 4 o 5 DD? People with 9.000.000 pageviews? ...don't go there with the "it's effort, it's talent" it just wont fit.

11 -DeviantArt once again, is useless... unless you wish to draw some stuff and sell them here, oh wait! any one can print your stuff and sell them on Ebay! nevermind...

12 -DeviantArt still is useless.

13 -DeviantArt is not useless for those that need stock pictures, and NON stock pictures for presentations and others...

Oh well, this is the end my friends.
I hope my words can make you think twice on keeping you accounts! The internet is every day the most reliable source for information... to harm the other. I'm not going to let anyone harm me, and I hope you don't let anyone do the same to you -or anyone else-
